SuperTux is a Super Mario Bros clone, and it's a very good one. All the old Super Mario traits are there though with a few spins to keep the copy write police at bay. You play as a penguin (read: Mario), initially small though finding and grabbing an egg (read: mushroom) you'll grow. Finding a flower (read: same deal as Mario) you'll be able to throw fireballs at your enemies, though only two on the screen at any one time. The rest is a simple matter of traversing the map safely, shooting any enemies that get in your way. All the same Super Mario tricks apply, hidden blocks, destroyable crates, ability to run over small gaps by holding 'run' and magic stars providing temporary invincibility.
